This week on Facebook, Twitter, Google + and LinkedIn, we’ve been talking about the importance of your breath. I’ve created a new video that talks about this, along with giving you some breathing techniques you can practice.

In regards to slowing down your breath during exercise, I forgot to mention that taking a sip of water is a great trick. The next time you’re doing kettlebell swings, snatches or any exercise that elevates your heart rate, try taking a sip of water on your rest break and notice how you are forced to breathe in and out of your nose, otherwise you’d choke on that sip of water!
