Yoga Instructor

Her love of running and recreational “competitions,” and the resulting chronic pain associated with that training is what brought Leah to yoga almost 20 years ago. She was hooked on the asanas immediately, but it wasn’t until recently that she came to appreciate the peace and focus that comes from combining the spiritual, mental, and physical aspects of the practice.  And, now, as an RYT200 certified yoga instructor, Leah wants to share this journey with others.

When you walk into Leah’s class, you can expect a variety of music (forget your idea of “typical yoga music”!!), challenging poses, cueing for a variety of levels, encouragement to push past your perceived limits, and lots of energy and fun!  My goal is to infuse breathing and yoga philosophy into a fun, upbeat, physically challenging workout to bring together a full mind-body-spirit experience.

Leah’s passion for helping others build confidence and self-love has been the common thread throughout her life.  As a former educator, current mother and coach’s wife, she has dedicated her life to encouraging and inspiring others to be courageous, authentic, and present.  Her purpose as a yoga instructor is to help you find health, peace, love, strength, and balance both on your mat and in your life so that you can bring the fullest expression of yourself to the world around you.  Only when we are balanced and full of love can we hope to make the biggest impact in the world around us.
