Tracy has been active all of her life. She danced ballet for 12 years, starting at the age of 3, had her first solo ballet performance at 14 years and also performed modern dance for 3 years. Tracy learned to ride a bike when she was 5 and continues to be an avid cyclist today. She was in the marching band and played the flute in high school. Tracy is also a bit of a daredevil; at age 26 she learned to ride a dirt bike in the Anza Borrego Desert. At age 39, Tracy began to train for her first running race, the Denver Turkey Trot. She had so much fun with all of the people and camaraderie, she decided it would be fun to challenge herself to do more, and started training for her first triathlon at age 40.
Tracy has become an accomplished endurance athlete, completing 3 half marathons, 5 sprint triathlons, 1 Olympic triathlon, 3 Century bike races, and countless 5 & 10K runs. It’s pretty obvious that living a healthy lifestyle is in Tracy’s blood.
Tracy began training with kettlebells in July 2017 and immediately fell in love with the results and how strong it made her feel. She saw the workouts improving her performance while running, biking and swimming. She was hooked!
Tracy values continuing education and has a real passion and desire to become an educator. When the opportunity to become kettlebell certified presented itself to her, she jumped in with both feet! Tracy is eager and excited to share her passion for good health, fitness, and education with everyone who comes to Iron Clad.
