This month we’re celebrating our 7 (yes 7!!) members who have committed to taking their kettlebell practice to the next level by participating in the HKC certification that took place at Iron Clad on April 10.
Kristen, Kasiva, Liv, Shane, Dina, Ahmed and Wayne took on this exciting challenge to improve their technique and learn how to teach the magic of kettlebells to others.
I am so insanely proud of each and every one of you. You all worked really hard to prepare for the workshop and it showed in both your performance and in your willingness to be coached to higher level of skill and technique. I am also so proud of the support you showed each other at the workshop, particularly during the testing when you were cheering each other on, high-fiving after you each tested and the roar of congratulations we heard in the office after we spoke to each of you.
HKC stands for Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification and it teaches all of the progressions, regressions and corrective techniques in the kettlebell Swing, Goblet Squat and Turkish Get Up. It’s a long, 8 hour day of fine tuning skills, learning how to break down these movements into ways that can be taught to people of all skill levels and being tested on your own proficiency in the movements. These 7 ladies and gentlemen proved that anything is possible through hard work and dedicated training. I can’t be more thrilled to announce that EVERY ONE OF THEM passed the certifiation!
Congratulations to each of you!!
